This playlist combines Easy Listening with R&B Ballads (i.e. OPM Love Songs YouTube), blending FilAm artists that are well-known in circles around the U.S and Original Pilipino Music (OPM). Created for Buena Beats Entertainment, whose board I’m part of, they asked me for advice on Filipino hits because their library was limited to Lea Salonga and Charice selections. I was happy to put something together for dinner background music and an upcoming gig of theirs at the time.

My exposure to OPM Love Songs YouTube are mainly because of my visits to the PI and some CDs I’ve acquired. I’d gladly defer to my family over there, including an uncle of mine who worked as a DJ personality. I’m familiar with FilAm artists because of a cousin very much into the scene here, along with import tuning and associated things. I always put them together, but not sure if that’s a correct assumption.

I’m leaving this playlist open to be edited (as they all are). Any suggestions are always welcome.
